i should be packing but....

instead i am setting up the obligatory travel blog. after 4 long years of school and a test that consumed the better part of two months , i leave tomorrow for india for 2 wks (with a short stopover in NY to say goodbye to the fam). then it's off to thailand, vietnam, cambodia, china, italy, and greece. i'll be gone for 9 weeks total, meeting up with friends and family along the way.

i'm new to this blog thing --- not sure exactly how it all works, but feel free to give me blog pointers (or travel tips, for that reason) in the comments section. ;-)

so, the backpack is packed. jam-packed. (three extra pairs of shoes have already been axed from the packing list.) since there's nothing too exciting going on here in DC for the moment, (and my left arm has been temporarily paralyzed by my typhoid shot this afternoon), that's all for now...
